About the Project

The project Gaming Disorders aims to provide teachers and educational staff with the competencies and tools to address the challenges that arise from digital transformation, focusing on Gaming Disorders. It aims to educate youngsters on how to build their digital/virtual identity and distinguish it from their real identity, whilst also educating them on how to build a healthy relationship with online gaming and the use of the internet.

Objectives

• Develop and implement an evidence-based pedagogical program aimed at all educational staff;

• Prevent, identify and report risk behaviour and the newly declared disorder, GD;

• Create awareness for responsible internet use amongst school communities; 

• Educate youngsters on how to create healthy online habits.
