The European Consortium responsible for the Erasmus+ project “Gaming Disorders”, has successfully completed another pivotal phase. The team recently finalized comprehensive questionnaires targeting parents, students, and teachers, gathering essential data to understand the community’s engagement with gaming and their understanding of the problems that can come from it.
Additionally, the project enriched its research perspective through one-on-one interviews with video game industry professionals. These discussions have provided a deeper understanding of the industry’s stance on gaming behaviours and disorders.
Entering the next phase, the consortium is collaborating with psychologists to integrate professional insights into the study. This involvement aims to further enhance the project’s approach by incorporating psychological viewpoints on gaming behaviours and disorders. Furthermore, we warmly welcome Auxilium, an Austrian organization, as a new member of the consortium. Auxilium joins us as we bid farewell to VAEV, thanking them for their contributions to the project thus far.
